Terms and Conditions

Please take your time to read the Terms and Conditions laid out below:

  1. If agreed, AJT Valeting requires access to one electrical plug socket for an extension lead and a water outlet. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure these resources are available on-site.
  2. If the customer’s vehicle is heavily soiled with substances such as mud, bodily fluids, dog hair, mould, or other materials that require extra attention, additional charges may apply. AJT Valeting will discuss these charges with the customer and obtain their agreement before starting work.
  3. AJT Valeting is a mobile business and is equipped to handle most weather conditions. However, if weather conditions become unsafe or prevent the team from performing the job effectively, AJT Valeting reserves the right to reschedule the appointment at the earliest convenient time.
  4. Cancellation of an appointment must be made no later than 48 hours before the scheduled job. If the cancellation is made after this time, the customer will be charged for 50% of the quote. If cancellation occurs within 24 hours, the full quote will be charged unless otherwise agreed upon by AJT Valeting.
  5. Payment Due Date
    All invoices are due for payment within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  6. Late Payment Fee
    If payment is not received within 7 days of the invoice date, a £25 late payment fee will be automatically applied to the outstanding balance.
  7. Daily Interest Charges
    In addition to the initial late payment fee, an additional charge of 5% of the total outstanding balance will be applied for each additional day that payment remains unpaid beyond the initial 7-day period.
  8. Although great care is taken, AJT Valeting is not held responsible for the loss or damage of any personal possessions left in the vehicle prior to works being carried out.
  9. Any large and heavy items left in the vehicle when work is to be carried out will remain in the vehicle. Any part of the vehicle blocked by such items will not be cleaned unless removed by the client when requested.
  10. The maximum wait time for AJT Valeting upon arrival or the scheduled start time (whichever is later) is 15 minutes. If the customer does not show up after 15 minutes, AJT Valeting will leave and a full charge will still be applied.
  11. AJT Valeting strives to provide accurate estimates and pricing for its services. However, the final cost of the detailing service may vary depending on the specific needs of the vehicle. Any additional charges will be discussed with the customer before work begins.
  12. AJT Valeting respects customer privacy and may use photos of the customer’s vehicle for advertising purposes. If the customer does not want their vehicle to be used in advertising, they must inform AJT Valeting in writing. No personal information such as number plates, street names, or house numbers will be included.
  13. AJT Valeting will only use customer information for the purpose of providing car detailing services and will not share any personal data.
  14. Some services may require a non-refundable deposit upon booking.
  15. AJT Valeting shall not be held responsible for any premature failure of coatings applied if the car is not exclusively maintained by AJT Valeting on a regular basis.
  16. Upon application of a ceramic coating by AJT Valeting, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the car remains dry and moisture-free on the treated panels for the duration specified. AJT Valeting shall not be held liable for any failure of the coating due to non-compliance.
  17. By using AJT Valeting’s services, customers agree to these Terms and Conditions. AJT Valeting reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
